How to use the age calculator
Enter a date of birth and (optionally) the date you want the age computed on. By default, it uses today. Years/months/days are calendar-correct, accounting for leap years.
Formula & explanation
We count whole years from birth, then whole remaining months, then leftover days, borrowing from the previous month when day-of-month subtracts negative. This matches the way humans report age.
Examples
Born 1990-01-15, on 2026-05-02 → 36 years, 3 months, 17 days; that's about 1,872 weeks or 13,256 days.
